The Hammer Museum beautifully bestowed upon us their second installment of this summer's Disappear Here last night, entrusting Peanut Butter Wolf & MNDSGN for the night's entertainment during this round.
Influential indie label Stones Throw graced the merchandise tables with some select tapes & vinyl available for purchase for those willing to brave their night out with valuable cargo in hand.
The free concert series, co-presented by KCRW, kicked-off at 6:30 p.m. & had the DJ tables spinning tunes by 7:30 to get the crowd warmed up. There was no shortage of bodies to get moving on the floor.
A gallery exhibiting a wide variety of paintings, sculptures & artifacts kept its doors open for viewing until 9 p.m., aka til the REAL party started.

Known by the law as Ringgo, producer MNDSGN dazzled the crowd with a live set laden with a thick mixture of keys & precisely executed drum machine powered beats.
The atmosphere was intoxicatingly live. Creative forces, warm summer air, and a mesmerizing ambiance of lighting (along with a fits hits from the G Pen ;-)) all clashed together in an electrifying concoction of spirit lifting pleasure.
A few peacocking B-Boys got down on the dance floor.
Stones Throw recording artist & founder, Peanut Butter Wolf, took the stage later in the evening & absolutely CRUSHED a set that got the whole crowd up & moving.
A night to remember to say the least. We in the GLIFE crew very much look forward to more nights at the Hammer as summer blazes on...
