Earlier this month thousands of enthusiasts made a pilgrimage to Vail, Colorado to attend the 36th Annual Burton US Open Snowboarding Championships.
The revered gathering showcases the talents of the world's upper echelon of snowboarders competing in both Slopestyle and Halfpipe contests.
Following the top shelf snowboard artistry during the day, premiere music acts followed into the evening holding down the concert series. From Damian Marley to Dean Ween, the celebration continued each night. Above is Dan Lotti of Dangermuffin.

To bring things to a higher level, we brought a laser engraver to customize the limited edition pens for the Burton family.
Custom engravings ranged from Burton art to Grateful Dead icons.
